BTC's Kami Farahmandpour A Fellow of the National Academy of Forensic Engineers

Building Technology Consultants, Inc. (BTC), is pleased to announce that Kami Farahmandpour, BTC’s Principal, has been admitted as a Fellow of the National Academy of Forensic Engineers (NAFE).  NAFE Fellows are: “Board Certified as a Diplomat in Forensic Engineering by NAFE under a program accredited by the Council of Engineering and Scientific Specialty Boards (CESB).”  To be admitted as a Fellow of the Academy, candidates must demonstrate extensive litigation experience, including references from a minimum of 5 attorneys familiar with the integrity, knowledge, and character of the candidate.

Additional requirements that must be met for nomination as a NAFE Fellow include:

  • Professional experience of at least 20 years;
  • Experience in the practice of forensic engineering of at least 15 years;
  • Case preparation as a forensic engineer in at least 50 court cases; and
  • Actual courtroom or arbitration testimony as an engineering expert in at least 10 court cases.

We congratulate Kami on his achievement as a Fellow of the National Academy of Forensic Engineers.  This honor represents the level of experience he has gained throughout his entire career as well as his commitment and dedication to providing the highest level of expertise to each of BTC’s valued clients.
