BTC Team Members Elected to Key Positions in Two Professional Organizations

Building Technology Consultants, Inc. (BTC) is pleased to announce election of BTC team members to key positions in two professional associations.

Senior Structural Engineer, Patrick Reicher, SE, REWC, CCS, CCCA has been elected to a 2-year term as Treasurer of the Chicago Area Chapter of RCI, Inc. (CAC-RCI).   Although now CAC-RCI’s Treasurer, Mr. Reicher continues as Chairman of the chapter’s Education and Program Committee.  CAC-RCI is a not-for-profit, professional association of building envelope specialists and is an affiliated chapter of RCI, Inc., The Institute of Roofing, Waterproofing, and Building Envelope Professionals.  The mission of the CAC-RCI, Inc. is to (1) provide for the professional development of its members, (2) represent the interests and values of its members, (3) convey its perspective to the public and to building envelope industry, and (4) support professionalism, ethical behavior, education, career opportunities, and research in the building envelope sciences. 

In addition, BTC Engineer, Chris Kottra, PE, CCCA has been elected to a 1-year term as Secretary of the Chicago Chapter of the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI).  In addition to his new role as Secretary, Mr. Kottra remains as Chairman of the ICRI Chicago Chapter Seminar Committee and is an active member of its Programs Committee.  Established in 1988, the stated purpose of ICRI is to “improve the quality of concrete restoration, repair and protection, through education of, and communication among, the members and those who use their services.”
