BTC's Kami Farahmandpour to Present Course in Lincoln, NE to State Employees

As an active contributor to the University of Wisconsin's College of Engineering Professional Development, Kami Farahmandpour has been requested to speak at a two-day workshop titled "Masonry: Learn to Do it Right." The course, available only to State of Nebraska employees on June 26 and June 27, will cover the following topics:

  • Masonry Wall Systems Basics
  • Moisture Movement through Masonry Walls
  • Exterior Wall Assemblies and How They Resist Moisture Movement
  • Basic Masonry Materials and Their Properties
  • An Overview of Common Causes of Masonry Failures and How to Guard Against Them
  • Evaluating Masonry Deficiencies - Water Leakage Assessment
