Sean Hahn Promoted to Engineer

Building Technology Consultants, Inc. (BTC), is pleased to announce that Sean Hahn has been promoted to Engineer!

Sean has been with BTC since 2017 and within this time has continually proven to be an asset to our team.  Sean’s professionalism, diligent work ethic, and drive have garnered him positive recognition from coworkers and clients alike.

Sean is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Illinois.  He is also a certified Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) and holds an FAA Certified Remote Pilot License with a small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) Rating.  When discussing his upcoming professional goals, he plans to pursue credentials offered by The International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) and Construction Specifications Institute (CSI).  

A significant influence in Sean’s life and career has been his grandfather, Gerome “Jerry” Hahn, who was also a Professional Engineer.  Although Gerome passed away when Sean was young, Sean learned more about his grandfather’s professional life when networking through the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) in college.  Sean recalls that it was surreal to hear about the great character and professionalism of his grandfather first-hand from a long-time co-worker; someone Sean had briefly met at an ASCE event.  It is his goal to continue his grandfather’s legacy of being someone who leads with kindness and generosity.
